ON THE TOPOLOGY OF THE NONABELIAN TENSOR PRODUCT OF PROFINITE GROUPS
The properties of the nonabelian tensor products are interesting in different contexts of algebraic topology and group theory. We prove two theorems, dealing with the nonabelian tensor products of projective limits of finite groups. The first describes their topology.

A low-rank approximation of tensors and the topological group structure of invertible matrices
By a tensor we mean an element of the tensor product of vector spaces over a field. Up to a choice of bases in factors of tensor products, every tensor may be coordinatized, i.e., represented as an array consisting of numbers.

Preparing long-range entangled states poses significant challenges for near-term quantum devices. It is known that measurement and feedback (MF) can aid this task by allowing the preparation of certain paradigmatic long-range entangled states with only ...

Disentangling Interacting Symmetry-Protected Phases of Fermions in Two Dimensions
We construct fixed point lattice models for group supercohomology symmetry-protected topological phases of fermions (2+1)D. A key feature of our approach is to construct finite depth circuits of local unitaries that explicitly build the ground states ...

Quantum error-detection at low energies
Motivated by the close relationship between quantum error-correction, topological order, the holographic AdS/CFT duality, and tensor networks, we initiate the study of approximate quantum error-detecting codes in matrix product states (MPS).

Geometric Structures in Tensor Representations (Final Release) [PDF]
The main goal of this paper is to study the geometric structures associated with the representation of tensors in subspace based formats. To do this we use a property of the so-called minimal subspaces which allows us to describe the tensor ...

The smash product of monoidal theories [PDF]
The tensor product of props was defined by Hackney and Robertson as an extension of the Boardman-Vogt product of operads to more general monoidal theories. Theories that factor as tensor products include the theory of commutative monoids and the theory of bialgebras. We give a topological interpretation (and vast generalisation) of this construction as

Towards higher-spin AdS2/CFT1 holography
We aim at formulating a higher-spin gravity theory around AdS2 relevant for holography. As a first step, we investigate its kinematics by identifying the low-dimensional cousins of the standard higher-dimensional structures in higher-spin gravity such as

Noncommutative topological entropy of endomorphisms of Cuntz algebras II [PDF]
A study of noncommutative topological entropy of gauge invariant endomorphisms of Cuntz algebras began in our earlier work with Joachim Zacharias is continued and extended to endomorphisms which are not necessarily of permutation type.

On the tensor product construction for q-differential algebras [PDF]
We show that for $q\not=-1$ the q-graded tensor product fails to preserve the q-differential structure of the product algebra and therefore there is no natural tensor product construction for q-differential algebras.
