Parry’s topological transitivity and $f$-expansions [PDF]
In his 1964 paper on f-expansions, Parry studied piecewise-continuous, piecewise-monotonic maps F of the interval [0,1), and introduced a notion of topological transitivity different from any of the modern definitions. This notion, which we call Parry topological transitivity, (PTT) is that the backward orbit O^-(x)={y:x=F^ny for some n\ge 0} of some x\

A hydrogel–liquid metal composite peripheral nerve interface (HLB‐PNI) combines electrically durable electrodes and tissue‐adhesive hydrogel for tissue‐adaptive implantation. In nerve‐injured rats, it enables the diagnosis of sensory‐motor connectivity via stimulation and neural signal recording.

On the robustness of topological quantum codes: Ising perturbation
We study the phase transition from two different topological phases to the ferromagnetic phase by focusing on points of the phase transition. To this end, we present a detailed mapping from such models to the Ising model in a transverse field.

Block Copolymers: Emerging Building Blocks for Additive Manufacturing
This review addresses how block copolymer (BCP) physics and rheology have led to the widespread use of BCPs in advanced additive manufacturing techniques, with particular emphasis on the untapped potential of these nanostructured materials toward achieving multi‐scale architected materials with unique, programmable material properties.

Topological quantum phase transitions of attractive spinless fermions in a honeycomb lattice
We investigate a spinless Fermi gas trapped in a honeycomb optical lattice with attractive nearest-neighbor interactions. At zero temperature, mean-field theory predicts three quantum phase transitions, two being topological.

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

Effective equilibrium picture in $xy-$model with exponentially correlated noise
We study the effect of exponentially correlated noise on $xy-$model in the limit of small correlation time discussing the order-disorder transition in mean-field and the topological transition in two dimensions.

Surface Diffusion in SnTe‐PbTe Monolayer Lateral Heterostructures
The lateral heterostructures between 2D materials often suffer from the interdiffusion at the interfaces. Here, a surface diffusion mechanism is found to be dominating at the interfaces between semiconducting SnTe and PbTe monolayers. Atomically sharp interfaces can be achieved by suppressing this diffusion process. ABSTRACT The construction of complex
