Topologic configuration of electron

Modern Physics Letters A, 2018
Motion of an electron is much different from that of a kind of matter in classical mechanics. Although it is impossible to directly observe the configuration of a bare electron, it is never as simple as to treat it as a three-dimensional (3D) particle in the microscopic world because the electron itself certainly has its own topological configuration,

Topological models for classical configurations

Journal of Statistical Planning and Inference, 2000
Let \(S_k\) be an orientable surface (a sphere with \(k\) ``handles'' attached), \(k\geq 0\). The Fano, Pappus and Desargues configurations are considered. The Menger graph have the points of a configuration as the vertices of the graph, and two vertices be adjacent if the points belong to a common line.

Controlling the configuration space topology of mechanical structures

Physical Review E, 2022
Linkages are mechanical devices constructed from rigid bars and freely rotating joints studied both for their utility in engineering and as mathematical idealizations in a number of physical systems. Recently, there has been a resurgence of interest in designing linkages in the physics community due to the concurrent developments of mechanical ...

Network topology configuration management experience report

TINA '99. 1999 Telecommunications Information Networking Architecture Conference Proceedings (Cat. No.99EX368), 1999
Sprint started working with the TINA-C recommendations in 1996. In 1998 it deployed connection manager (CM), a provisioning system in support of Sprint ION, which used the network resource architecture (NRA) as its software blueprint. The initial scope of CM includes provisioning of ATM and ATM-transported services of voice, IP, and frame relay.

Reliability Reference Model for Topology Configuration

2021
We use a simple 2-tiered reference model consisting of servers and sites to illustrate an approach to topology configuration and optimization, with a focus on addressing geo-redundancy questions like how many sites, and how many servers per site, are required to meet performance and reliability requirements.

Some topological configurations in gauge theories

International Journal of Theoretical Physics, 1978
A Higgs vacuum field φ is characterized by the set of conditionsDμφ=0, which lead to a generalized Meissner effect and partially determine the vector potentialAμ in terms of φ. Applying this method to the Weinberg-Salam theory, we assert that there exist stringlike configurations in which a pair of magnetic poles are bound by a flux string of theZ0 ...

Topology optimization for biocatalytic microreactor configurations

2015
Abstract The aim of this study is to present an innovative strategy for selecting a reactor for a specific process. Instead of adapting the process to a well-known reactor shape, a topology optimization method is used to obtain the best reactor configuration, and is applied to a biocatalyic reaction system as a case study.
