We deal with the problem of topology control for mobile ad hoc networks. Based on an asymptotic result on k-connectivity, a simple scheme for topology control is proposed. The scheme is used to generate several topologies under highly mobile conditions.

Topological analysis of metabolic control
Mathematical Biosciences, 1990A topological approach is presented for the analysis of control and regulation in metabolic pathways. In this approach, the control structure of a metabolic pathway is represented by a weighted directed graph. From an inspection of the topology of the graph, the control coefficients of the enzymes are evaluated in a heuristic manner in terms of the ...

Topologically Controlled Interpolyelectrolyte Complexes
Macromolecules, 2008The complexation of a cylindrical polyelectrolyte−brush−surfactant complex (PMMPSS−C12) and an oppositely, highly charged cylindrical polyelectrolyte−brush (PMMPEI−PEO) in dimethylformamide (DMF) l...

Topologized variables and controls
2001 European Control Conference (ECC), 2001Presented is a theoretical framework for variables and their control taking approximate behavior ("fuzziness") into account. In our definition of variables the domain of a variable is parameterized by control parameters, the theoretical concepts used are from classical topology.

Robust Topology Control Protocols
2005Topology control protocols attempt to reduce the energy consumption of nodes in an ad-hoc wireless network while maintaining sufficient network connectivity. Topology control protocols with various features have been proposed, but they all lack robustness and are extremely sensitive to faulty information from neighbors. For example, the XTC protocol (R.
