Evolutionary Synthesis of Fractional Capacitor Using Simulated Annealing Method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Synthesis of fractional capacitor using classical analog circuit synthesis method was described in [6]. The work presented in this paper is focused on synthesis of the same problem by means of evolutionary method simulated annealing.

Advancements in Understanding the Physicochemical Properties of Reticular Materials: An In Situ and Operando Spectroscopic Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review explores how in situ and operando spectroscopic techniques reveal the real‐time behavior of reticular materials, including MOFs and COFs. These methods track material formation and functionalization, structural changes, defect formation, dynamic responses to external triggers, and catalytic processes.

State‐of‐the‐Art, Insights, and Perspectives for MOFs‐Nanocomposites and MOF‐Derived (Nano)Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Different approaches to MOF‐NP composite formation, such as ship‐in‐a‐bottle, bottle‐around‐the‐ship and in situ one‐step synthesis, are used. Owing to synergistic effects, the advantageous features of the components of the composites are beneficially combined, and their individual drawbacks are mitigated.

The Geometry of a Quantum Circuit and its Impact on Electromagnetic Noise [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
Here we show that to quantize any lumped element circuit, the circuit geometry must be included in a mathematical model of either the circuit fluxes or the circuit charges. By geometry of the circuit, we refer to the so-called parasitic inductances and capacitances that arise from the details of the circuit layout, which are well known to create noise ...

Practical formulation of the relation between filter specifications and the requirements for integrator circuits [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
The design of integrated, high-frequency, continuous-time filters has made considerable progress in the past few years. As the signal frequencies increase the design of the integrator circuits used in most of these filters becomes more critical.

Intertwined Topological Phases in TaAs2 Nanowires with Giant Magnetoresistance and Quantum Coherent Surface Transport

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Synthesis of topological semimetal TaAs2 nanowires in situ encapsulated with a thin SiO2 shell unravel a richness of intertwined topological phases manifested by their magnetotransport features: A near‐room‐temperature metal‐to‐insulator transition, strong expressions of topologically nontrivial surface transport, giant magnetoresistance with direction‐

A 300-800MHz Tunable Filter and Linearized LNA applied in a Low-Noise Harmonic-Rejection RF-Sampling Receiver [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A multiband flexible RF-sampling receiver aimed at software-defined radio is presented. The wideband RF sampling function is enabled by a recently proposed discrete-time mixing downconverter. This work exploits a voltage-sensing LNA preceded by a tunable

Exceptional Thermal Conductivity in Printed Dielectrics through Compositional and Microstructural Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A multi‐generational compositional design creates a printable low‐loss dielectric composite that achieves over 16 W m−1 K−1. This breakthrough is enabled by thermal post‐processing, which promotes templated crystallization in a polymer matrix from surface‐modified particles, creating a “hetero‐percolated network.” The resulting material is three ...
