Multi‐Dimensional Multiplexed Metasurface for Multifunctional Near‐Field Modulation by Physics‐Driven Intelligent Design

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The expansive design space of advanced metasurfaces, particularly those with multiple degrees of freedom (MDOF), renders traditional design methods less effective. A physics‐driven intelligent design is proposed for MDOF metasurfaces, which integrates physical knowledge into neural networks, enhancing interpretability and computational efficiency. This

An Ultrafast Charge‐Driven Topological Intercalation Prelithiation Strategy for Carbon‐Silicon Composite Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this work, an ultrafast topological intercalation prelithiation method capable of forming a uniformly 3D stable solid electrolyte interface (SEI) network on porous C/SiOx nanofiber anodes within mere 30 s is designed. The SEI significantly enhances the initial Coulombic efficiency of the anodes to 99.44%, and the corresponding batteries show a ...

Moisture Harvesting by the Structure Regulation of Hygroscopic Hydrogel for Energy and Water Sustainability

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Hygroscopic hydrogels are capable of utilizing the moisture from air, which can transfer the gaseous water to liquid by a surface phase transition. Taking advantage of this water, sustainable water production, thermal management, and electricity generation can be realized.

Broadband, Single‐Layered, and Optically Transparent Reflective Phase‐Shifting‐Surface Array for Beam Manipulation and Enhanced Wireless Communications

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A novel optically transparent reflectarray design approach based on multi‐resonant phase‐shifting elements with minimal fine metal line (FML) structures and low‐loss single‐layer cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) substrate is proposed. The design achieves exceptional antenna performance while ensuring high optical transparency, validated through wireless ...

Boosting Stochasticity in Ovonic Threshold Switches Through Cryogenic First Firing for Fast and Reliable Entropy Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Cryogenic first firing in SiGeAsTe‐based Ovonic Threshold Switch (OTS) devices enhances stochastic switching, increasing trap generation and switching variability up to fourfold. This enables stable, high‐speed entropy generation (>20 Mbit s−1) without reference values, ensuring robustness under cycling.
