Is Quantum Field Theory Necessarily “Quantum”?

open access: yesQuantum Reports
The mathematical universe of the quantum topos, which is formulated on the basis of classical Boolean snapshots, delivers a neo-realist description of quantum mechanics that preserves realism.

Diverse Landscape of Tunable Magnetic, Topological, and Ferroelectric States in 2D Ti3Se3Te2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ti3Se3Te2 emerges as a multifunctional 2D van der Waals platform. The monolayer is a dynamically stable ferromagnetic quantum anomalous Hall insulator. In bilayers, two stacking configurations yield distinct phases: AA‐stacking hosts an altermagnetic quantum spin Hall insulator, while AA′‐stacking exhibits three‐state in‐plane ferroelectricity ...

METAPHOR OF FORM IN “LILY” (architectonics of Icelandic Fourteenth century Christian Drapa)

open access: yesRUDN Journal of Language Studies, Semiotics and Semantics, 2018
Aim of the study is explication of the narrative technique of the person who composed “Lily”; research demands attention to the following aspects of the drapa: 1) its architectonics, i.e.

A Topos Perspective on the Kochen-Specker Theorem: I. Quantum States as Generalised Valuations [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Any attempt to construct a realist interpretation of quantum theory founders on the Kochen-Specker theorem, which asserts the impossibility of assigning values to quantum quantities in a way that preserves functional relations between them.

Palatable‐Food–Driven Top‐Down Circuit Inhibits PVNCRF Activity to Mitigate Stress Via Peri‐PVNCRFR1 Neurons

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Palatable food alleviates stress and prevents anxiety. This study uncovers a dedicated neural pathway: dopamine release in the PFC activates D1R neurons, whose projections to the peri‐PVN engage a population of anxiolytic CRFR1 neurons. These neurons then inhibit stress‐induced hyperactivity of PVNCRF neurons, providing a circuit‐level explanation for ...

On the validity of the definition of a complement-classifier

open access: yesZagadnienia Filozoficzne w Nauce, 2020
It is well-established that topos theory is inherently connected with intuitionistic logic. In recent times several works appeared concerning so-called complement-toposes (co-toposes), which are allegedly connected to the dual to intuitionistic logic. In

mTORC2 Phosphorylation of GSDME‐N Drives Cullin4B‐Mediated Proteasomal Degradation to Suppress Pyroptosis and Confer Radioresistance in Small Cell Lung Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Radioresistance severely limits the efficacy of therapies for small cell lung cancer (SCLC). This study reveals a novel mechanism of resistance driven by the active suppression of pyroptosis. Specifically, the mTORC2 complex directly phosphorylates GSDME‐N and promotes its CUL4B‐mediated ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation.

The Topos of the Wandering Jew in the Works of V. M. Doroshevich (In the Light of Discourse Worlds Theory) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
W artykule autor podejmuje próbę spojrzenia na topos Żyda Wiecznego Tułacza w dwóch utworach prozatorskich pisarza rosyjskiego Własa Doroszewicza (1865–1922) w duchu poetyki kognitywnej. W tym celu wykorzystuje teorię światów dyskursu. Pozwala mu to na
