The Fettered and the Flea: A New Poem by Edmund Waller☆
Renaissance Studies, Volume 40, Issue 1, Page 41-54, February 2026.Abstract This contribution explores for the first time a 22‐line poem in a British Library manuscript, ‘To a young lady that kept a flea chay’nd in a box’, which can be convincingly ascribed to Edmund Waller. Its most famous relative is Donne’s ‘The Flea’, but its ancestry differs.

Crystal Structures and Intermolecular Interactions in α$\alpha$‐ and β$\beta$‐phosgene
Angewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 2, 9 January 2026.Despite its notorious reputation as a war gas, phosgene (COCl2${\rm COCl}_2$) is one of the most important intermediate chemicals in industry. In this study, we present the crystal structures of two phosgene polymorphs as deduced from powder neutron diffraction and show which intermolecular interactions stabilise the different modifications.

Cancer Immunotherapy via Disruption of Integrin αvβ3 and CD47 Costabilization on Cancer Cell Surface
Advanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 2, 9 January 2026.This study identifies a cancer‐specific interaction between CD47 and integrin αvβ3 that facilitates immune evasion. A rationally designed peptide, PSFL‐NK13, disrupts this axis, enhancing macrophage‐mediated phagocytosis and suppressing tumor growth without inducing anemia.
