Ecology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 12, December 2025.This work presents a revision of Tunisian species within the genus Buthus. By combining molecular and morphological analyses, we describe a new species and we better define the distribution area of all the recorded species and provide new morphological criteria that facilitate their identification and differentiation.

Archives of Insect Biochemistry and Physiology, Volume 120, Issue 3, November 2025.Tribolium castaneum larvae accumulate triacylglycerol (TAG) during development, while adults rapidly deplete reserves post‐emergence. Under starvation, beetles prioritize protein catabolism over lipid mobilization, despite increased expression of lipolysis genes, revealing stage‐specific metabolic adaptations in this model insect.
