Efficient Portfolio Management using TOPSIS and Ada-Boost

2020 IEEE Asia-Pacific Conference on Computer Science and Data Engineering (CSDE), 2020
The nature of the stock market is random and uncertain and therefore it is difficult to make accurate decisions in stock trading. With this paper we propose a model which can select stocks effectively in the US stock market by feature extraction from data provided by the Quantopian platform. Our approach consisted of 17 features of 4 different domains.

Application of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS for flood management

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2019
The technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) has been applied to numerous multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problems where crisp numbers are utilised in defining linguistic evaluation. The interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS (IVIF TOPSIS) can offer a new decision making method in solving MCDM problems where ...

Geotechnical Risk Management Using Fuzzy TOPSIS Approach

2021
Manyinfrastructure projects face geotechnical risks which might have devastatingeffects on the cost and schedule performance of the projects if not managedproperly. Since infrastructure projects have huge uncertainties in theirnature, consideration of all possible geotechnical conditions becomes morecompelling.

A case of food supply chain management with AHP, DEMATEL, and TOPSIS

Journal of Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis, 2019
AbstractThe bullwhip effect leads to considerable inefficiencies along the food supply chain such as missed production schedules, poor customer service, excessive inventory, and misguided capacity plans. To tackle this problem, it is necessary, apart from other interventions, to continuously monitor the performance of food suppliers so that the demand ...
