Local Time Asymmetry in Energetic Electron Distribution Within Saturn's Inner Magnetosphere

Abstract Electrons of several hundred keV in Saturn's ring current are important seed components of the radiation belt. In this study, we have statistically analyzed the spatial distribution of energetic electrons on the equatorial plane of the inner magnetosphere based on the Cassini in situ observations.

Abstract The Calabrian Arc subduction system (Central Mediterranean) is characterized by a deep and narrow (200 km) slab. Addressing the poorly understood link between shallow and deep mantle structures, we present the first high‐resolution mapping of crustal and upper mantle discontinuities across the Calabrian Arc and Southern Tyrrhenian basin.

Fast and Slow Signal Propagation in Abiotic Polypeptide Assemblies

Proteinoid microspheres formed by thermal polymerization of amino acids exhibit spontaneous electrical potential fluctuations without genetic material, membranes, or ion channels.
