Determining the Jet Poloidal B Field and Black-Hole Rotation Directions in AGNs
It is theoretically expected that active galactic nucleus (AGN) jets should carry helical magnetic (B) fields, which arise due to the rotation of the central black hole and accretion disk combined with the jet outflow.

A two‐step process was transferred from batch to flow mode for the synthesis of (R)‐2‐fluoro‐1‐phenylethanol as a benchmark, consisting of a decarboxylative fluorination in aqueous media, followed by an enantioselective biocatalytic reduction of the prochiral intermediate with RrADH immobilized on silica supraparticles.

Towards Characterization of Five‐List‐Colorability of Toroidal Graphs
ABSTRACT Through computer‐assisted enumeration, we list minimal obstructions for 5‐choosability of graphs on the torus with the following additional property: There exists a cyclic system of non‐contractible triangles around the torus where the consecutive triangles are at distance at most four.

Burst statistics of fluctuations in a simple magnetized torus configuration [PDF]
In a toroidal plasma confined by a purely toroidal magnetic field the plasma transport is governed by electrostatic turbulence driven by the flute interchange instability on the low-field side of the torus cross section.

Abstract Investigations of hydrostatic pressure effects on microbial enzymatic processing are challenging but critical for understanding element cycling in the world's oceans. In this study, we developed and tested a stainless‐steel pressure cell capable of withstanding up to 110 MPa of hydrostatic pressure (equivalent to ~ 11,000 m depth), featuring ...

Testing VIPV Curved Modules: Methods and Challenges
This work presents procedures and equipment for characterizing curved vehicle‐integrated photovoltaic (VIPV) modules through STC I–V curve and relative angular response (RAR) measurements. Outdoor measurements are compared with indoor measurements obtained using a collimated‐light solar simulator, showing excellent agreement for STC I–V curves.

High‐resolution in‐beam video rate imaging with the ClearXCam for synchrotron beamlines
The ClearXCam is a diamond‐based camera for synchrotron X‐ray beams. This imaging detector has 2304 pixels for real‐time X‐ray beam monitoring with frame rates as fast as 100 Hz. The system provides quantitative beam diagnostics for synchrotron facilities, enabling rapid beam focusing and continuous monitoring of beam position and structure, and may ...
