A torque transducer utilizing a circularly polarized ring
1992. Digests of Intermag. International Magnetics Conference, 1992A novel type of magnetoelastic torque transducer is described. It consists of two elements: a circumferentially magnetized magnetostrictive ring, rigidly attached to a shaft carrying the torque to be measured, and a Hall effect or similar magnetic field intensity sensor mounted in proximity to the ring.

A Torque Transducer System for Observing, Recording, and Controlling
IEEE Transactions on Education, 1963This paper describes a torque transducer system which measures the force of reaction on the stationary member of a rotating machine delivering or receiving power. The transducer system is not interposed between the driver and the driven machine. It is used as a sub-base in setting up the machine whose torque is to be measured.

FSR based force torque transducer design
2013This thesis report discusses the design, construction and calibration of two force-torque transducers for use in a force control override of a rate control system. Pre-loaded force sensing resistors were used in a computer model to determine the 6-umber and location of sensors necessary to resolve three forces and three moments.
