Atomistic Mechanisms Triggered by Joule Heating Effects in Metallic Cu‐Bi Nanowires for Spintronics
Bi doped metallic Cu nanowires are promising for spintronics thanks to the stabilization of a giant spin Hall effect. However, heat resulting from current injection forces Bi to leave solution, forcing segregation into monoatomic decorations which evolve into coherent crystalline aggregates.

Spin transfer torque enhancement in dual spin valve in the ballistic regime
The spin transfer torque in all-metal dual spin valve, in which two antiparallelly aligned pinned ferromagnetic layers are on the two sides of a free ferromagnetic layer with two thin nonmagnetic spacers in between, is studied in the ballistic regime. It

Magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) using MgO tunnel barriers face challenges of high resistance‐area product and low tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR). To discover alternative materials, Literature Enhanced Ab initio Discovery (LEAD) is developed. The LEAD‐predicted materials are theoretically evaluated, showing that MTJs with dusting of ScN or TiN on ...
