Relationship of isokinetic torque to isometric torque
Journal of Orthopaedic Research, 1983AbstractIsokinetic muscle testing has become an increasingly popular method for measuring muscle performance. However, the relationship of isokinetic strength measurements to static strength measurements remains unclear. The relationship between maximal isokinetic and maximal isometric torque was investigated at angular velocities of 24, 48, 96, and ...

Torque-Sensorless Identification of IPMSM Torque Map
2021 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE), 2021This paper analyzes the torque equation of an interior permanent-magnet synchronous machine (IPMSM), including magnetic saturation, spatial harmonics, and the variation of the magnetic energy. Based on the analysis, a torque-sensorless method is proposed to identify an IPMSM’s torque map.

Torque Fluctuation in Hydraulic Torque Converter
2019 IEEE 8th International Conference on Fluid Power and Mechatronics (FPM), 2019In order to investigate the blade torque fluctuation mechanism and provide more insight into torque converter’s internal flow field, this paper established both single-blade passage and full-blade passage transient simulation model. The time dependent blade torque results from single blade-passage simulation method is actually the torque of those ...

Procedures are developed for synthesizing torque waveforms to optimally move a mechanical element of a structure so that the mechanical modes of oscillation of the structure are left unexcited at the end of the movement. A primary application of these procedures is in spacecraft missions that require reorientation of parts of the sparecraft without ...
