This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Localizations of torsion-free abelian groups
Localizations of objects play an important role in category theory, homology, and elsewhere. A (homo)morphism α:A→B is a localization of A if for each f:A→B there is a unique ϕ:B→B extending f.

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

When the theory of groups was first introduced, the attention was on finite groups. Now, the infinite abelian groups have some into their own. the results obtained in infinite abelian groups are very interesting and penetrating in other branches of ...

Low‐Angle Grain Boundaries and Re‐Segregation in Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Base Superalloys
This work demonstrates that Re‐segregation at low‐angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) in Ni‐base superalloys is influenced by misorientation angle. Advanced microscopy and atom probe tomography reveal that higher misorientation angles increases Re‐segregation.

Homogeneity in relatively free groups
We prove that any torsion-free, residually finite relatively free group of infinite rank is not -homogeneous. This generalizes Sklinos' result that a free group of infinite rank is not -homogeneous, and, in particular, gives a new simple proof of that ...
