Abstract This study compared three Brainlab thermoplastic masks—Cranial 4pi basic, stereotactic (Close Mask V2), and open‐face—to see how well they limited head movement during Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS). Using a head phantom, we tested rotational movements (pitch, yaw, and roll) and measured displacements with the ExacTrac system.

The torsion of the multicell sections [PDF]
The paper is focused on the stress analysis of thin-walled multicell sections subjected to pure torsion. The shear flow and stiffness characteristics of the cross section for torsion are given. Example: aircraft wing section.

Torsion theories of simplicial groups with truncated Moore complex [PDF]
We introduce a linearly ordered lattice $\mu(Grp)$ of torsion theories in simplicial groups. The torsion theories are defined where the torsion/torsion-free subcategories are given by the simplicial groups with bounded above/below Moore complex, respectively.

Significant differences in femoral torsion values depending on the CT measurement technique
IntroductionThis study compared the feasibility of six different CT-based measurement techniques for establishing an indication for derotational osteotomy in the cases of patellar instability or femoral fracture.Materials and methodsCT scans of 52 single

Digital Methods for the Fatigue Assessment of Engineering Steels
The use of engineering steels is often limited by their fatigue strength. In the sake of a faster product development, the fatigue behavior can be predicted by machine learning (ML). In this work, ML is applied on a heterogeneous database, covering a wide range of steel types.
