Decision matrix analysis for tonic ocular torsional abnormalities with posturography abnormalities.

The American journal of otology, 1997
Tonic ocular torsions can arise from a variety of central or peripheral, vestibular, and nonvestibular lesions. However, the role of tonic ocular torsions in neurotology has been limited to surgical patients after unilateral vestibular deafferentation.

Unilateral Testicular Torsion: Abnormal Histological Findings in the Contralateral Testis—Cause or Effect?

British Journal of Urology, 1990
Summary— A histological review of testicular biopsies of the contralateral testis, obtained at the time of surgical intervention for testicular torsion, was performed in 20 post‐pubertal men. Contralateral histological abnormalities were found in 12 specimens. The duration of

The movement‐related cortical potential is abnormal in patients with idiopathic torsion dystonia

Movement Disorders, 1995
AbstractVoluntary movements, such as the self‐paced finger extension task used in the present experiments, are preceded by a slowly rising negative electroencephalographic potential [the movement‐related cortical potential (MRCP)]. The early NS1 component of the potential was no different in patients with primary dystonia affecting the arm (n = 6 ...

Abnormal Grain Gowth of ODS Superalloys Enhanced by Boron Doping or Torsional Strain

Superalloys 1988 (Sixth International Symposium), 1988
The abnormal grain growth of nickel base ODS alloys was promoted by various methods. The materials used in the study were as-extruded bars of MA6000 and Japanese experimental alloys, all of which showed no or very little grain growth by isothermal annealing.

Torsional vibrations in steam turbine shafting in turbogenerator abnormal modes of operation

Strength of Materials, 2012
The paper presents some findings of numerical investigations of torsional vibrations in steam turbine shafting in the turbogenerator abnormal operation modes (short circuit, random paralleling start, etc.). The shafting vibrations are shown to be essentially dependant on the reaction torque surge parameters (magnitude, duration, and form).

[Treatment of torsion abnormalities of central upper incisors caused by super-compact teeth].

Stomatologiia, 2004
A super-compact retained tooth is often responsible for rotation of a tooth round its axis; the retained tooth should be removed after preliminary x-ray examination of the site of abnormality. A great variety of etiopathological factors are responsible for the abnormality, and hence, the approaches to the choice of treatment are numerous.
