A note on derivations in semiprime rings
We prove in this note the following result. Let n>1 be an integer and let R be an n!-torsion-free semiprime ring with identity element. Suppose that there exists an additive mapping D:R→R such that D(xn)=∑j=1nxn−jD(x)xj−1 is fulfilled for all x∈R.

Torsion-Free Abelian Semigroup Rings X
This is a continuation of the previous part VII in this series [ibid. 23, 1-8 (1991; Zbl 0756.13012)]. This paper concerns properties of a semigroup ring \(A[X;S]\) of a commutative semigroup \(S\) over a commutative ring \(A\). The first part generalizes and solves some problems of Karpilovsky about the unit group of \(A[X;S]\).

Neutrosophic Triplets in Neutrosophic Rings
The neutrosophic triplets in neutrosophic rings 〈 Q ∪ I 〉 and 〈 R ∪ I 〉 are investigated in this paper. However, non-trivial neutrosophic triplets are not found in 〈 Z ∪ I 〉 .

The congruence criterion for power operations in Morava E-theory
We prove a congruence criterion for the algebraic theory of power operations in Morava E-theory, analogous to Wilkerson's congruence criterion for torsion free lambda-rings. In addition, we provide a geometric description of this congruence criterion, in

Finite torsion-free rank endomorphism rings [PDF]
We prove that a finite torsion-free rank abelian group with finite torsion-free rank endomorphism ring is a direct sum of a bounded group and a self-small group.

Representation growth of some torsion-free finitely generated $2$-nilpotent groups
We devise a method for computing representation zeta functions of torsion-free finitely generated $2$-nilpotent groups whose associated Lie lattices have an extra smoothness condition.

Criteria for flatness and injectivity
Let $R$ be a commutative Noetherian ring. We give criteria for flatness of $R$-modules in terms of associated primes and torsion-freeness of certain tensor products.

Posner's second theorem with two variable σ-derivations
This study is an attempt to prove the following result: Suppose that R is a 2-torsion free prime ring and Φ:R×R→R is a left two variable σ-derivation such that σ is a monomorphism, Φ(R×R)⊆σ(R), and [σ(b) − b, x] = 0 for all b∈I and x∈R, where I is an ...

Rings with involution whose symmetric elements are central
In a ring R with involution whose symmetric elements S are central, the skew-symmetric elements K form a Lie algebra over the commutative ring S. The classification of such rings which are 2-torsion free is equivalent to the classification of Lie ...

3-[1-(4-Bromophenyl)ethoxy]-2,2,5-trimethyl-4-phenyl-3-azahexane
The title compound, C22H30BrNO, is an alkoxyamine compound, an effective initiator in nitroxide-mediated free radical polymerization. It was prepared as a mixture of two diasteromers; the crystal for the X-ray analysis showed one of these as a pair of R ...
