Air‐Pressure–Actuated Vibroacoustic Metamaterial With Tunable Bandgap: Design, Modeling, and Characterization

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents the design, modeling, and characterization of air‐pressure–actuated programmable vibroacoustic metamaterials (PVAMM). The study focuses on leveraging air pressure to dynamically tune resonance frequencies for effective noise attenuation.

Neutrosophic Triplets in Neutrosophic Rings

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
The neutrosophic triplets in neutrosophic rings 〈 Q ∪ I 〉 and 〈 R ∪ I 〉 are investigated in this paper. However, non-trivial neutrosophic triplets are not found in 〈 Z ∪ I 〉 .

Molecular Dynamics Studies of Shape Memory Polymers: From Bead–Spring Models to Atomistic Simulations

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Microstructure Reconstruction in Battery Electrodes Using Machine Learning Based on Low‐Voltage Focused Ion Beam–Scanning Electron Microscopy Tomography Images

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐voltage FIB‐SEM tomography combined with a image preprocessing pipeline improves phase contrast and enables reliable machine‐learning segmentation of conductive networks in lithium‐ion battery electrodes. Structural descriptors are extracted from segmented images, done semimanually and automated, and compared.

Continuous Stiffness Graded Metal–Ceramic Femoral Stems: UMAT‐Based Design and Finite Element Assessment

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Functionally graded metal–ceramic femoral stems are engineered through continuous UMAT‐based stiffness tailoring, eliminating discrete material interfaces while enhancing biomechanical compatibility. Low‐index power‐law gradation optimizes load transfer, reduces stress shielding, and controls implant–bone micromotion, highlighting a materials‐design ...

On the structure of one-generated Leibniz rings

open access: yesResearches in Mathematics
The paper is devoted to the study of one-generated Leibniz rings. We begin with a short discussion of the relation between Lie rings, Lie algebras, Leibniz algebras, and Leibniz rings, and recall the basic notions needed in the sequel.

Posner's second theorem with two variable σ-derivations

open access: yesJournal of Taibah University for Science, 2017
This study is an attempt to prove the following result: Suppose that R is a 2-torsion free prime ring and Φ:R×R→R is a left two variable σ-derivation such that σ is a monomorphism, Φ(R×R)⊆σ(R), and [σ(b) − b, x] = 0 for all b∈I and x∈R, where I is an ...

Rings with involution whose symmetric elements are central

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1980
In a ring R with involution whose symmetric elements S are central, the skew-symmetric elements K form a Lie algebra over the commutative ring S. The classification of such rings which are 2-torsion free is equivalent to the classification of Lie ...

3-[1-(4-Bromophenyl)ethoxy]-2,2,5-trimethyl-4-phenyl-3-azahexane

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2013
The title compound, C22H30BrNO, is an alkoxyamine compound, an effective initiator in nitroxide-mediated free radical polymerization. It was prepared as a mixture of two diasteromers; the crystal for the X-ray analysis showed one of these as a pair of R ...
