Wide coreflective subcategories and torsion pairs [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebra
We revisit a construction of wide subcategories going back to work of Ingalls and Thomas. To a torsion pair in the category R-mod of finitely presented modules over a left artinian ring R, we assign two wide subcategories in the category R - Mod of all R-

Parametrizing torsion pairs in derived categories [PDF]

open access: yesRepresentation Theory, 2021
We investigate parametrizations of compactly generated t-structures, or more generally, t-structures with a definable coaisle, in the unbounded derived category D

N-Quasi-Abelian Categories vs N-Tilting Torsion Pairs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
It is a well established fact that the notions of quasi-abelian categories and tilting torsion pairs are equivalent. This equivalence fits in a wider picture including tilting pairs of (formula-presented)-structures.

tCG torsion pairs

open access: yesJournal of Algebra and Its Applications, 2019
We investigate conditions when the [Formula: see text]-structure of Happel–Reiten–Smalø associated to a torsion pair is a compactly generated [Formula: see text]-structure. The concept of a [Formula: see text]CG torsion pair is introduced and for any ring [Formula: see text], we prove that [Formula: see text] is a [Formula: see text]CG torsion pair in

Constructing Torsion Pairs

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 1996
Let \(A\) be a finite-dimensional algebra over a commutative field \(k\). The objective of the paper is to describe the torsion pair (or the torsion theory) in the category \(\text{mod }A\) of finitely generated right \(A\)-modules, using the methods of the representation theory of algebras.

Torsion pairs and recollements of extriangulated categories [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Algebra, 2021
In this article, we prove that if $(\mathcal A ,\mathcal B,\mathcal C)$ is a recollement of extriangulated categories, then torsion pairs in $\mathcal A$ and $\mathcal C$ can induce torsion pairs in $\mathcal B$, and the converse holds under natural assumptions. Besides, we give mild conditions on a cluster tilting subcategory on the middle category of

Torsion pairs in silting theory [PDF]

open access: yesPacific Journal of Mathematics, 2017
In the setting of compactly generated triangulated categories, we show that the heart of a (co)silting t-structure is a Grothendieck category if and only if the (co)silting object satisfies a purity assumption. Moreover, in the cosilting case the previous conditions are related to the coaisle of the t-structure being a definable subcategory.

On vanishing and torsion-freeness results for adjoint pairs

open access: yes, 2021
We prove some vanishing and torsion-freeness results for higher direct images of adjoint pairs satisfying relative abundance and nefness conditions. These are applied to generic vanishing and weak positivity.v2: minor changes; to appear in Math.

Cotorsion pairs, torsion pairs, and Sigma-pure-injective cotilting modules.

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper we study cotorsion and torsion pairs induced by cotilting modules. We prove the existence of a strong relationship between the Σ-pure-injectivity of the cotilting module and the property of the induced cotorsion pair to be of finite type ...

N′-Benzoyl-5-methyl-1,3-diphenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbohydrazide

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2013
In the title compound, C24H20N4O2, the pyrazole ring makes dihedral angles of 47.57 (10)° and 30.56 (11)° with its N-bound and C-bound phenyl groups, respectively. The C—N—N—C group that links the two carbonyls has
