Resonant Domain Wall Dynamics in a Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Nano Double Helix

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
3D magnetic nanostructures promise exciting possibilities for magnetization dynamics. However, experimental realizations remain scarce. In nanoprinted cobalt double helices, time‐resolved X‐ray microscopy reveals harmonic domain wall dynamics. Simulations identify the mode and additional higher‐frequency resonances, revealing a rich dynamic landscape ...

On the Impact Torsional Test by Means of a Dropped Bar

open access: yesTransactions of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers, 1978
In the present paper we describe the impact torsional stress of a circular bar supported horizontally and subjected to impact torsion, when a cross pin attached to the end of it was struck by a dropped bar. Stresses obtained by experiments were in good agreement with those by one dimensional theory except for the short time after the impact.

Soft Skins With Reversible Thickness Morphing: Materials, Mechanisms, and Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Evolution of electronic skin (e‐skin) technologies toward adaptive, multifunctional soft skins. Phase I highlights early rigid and discrete sensory interfaces. Phase II shows the transition toward flexible, stretchable, and large‐area e‐skin. Phase III captures the emergence of computational e‐skin.

Fast Hydrogel Micro‐Actuators Driven by Electric Fields

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report the fabrication of chemically programmable electroactuating microstructures through the first integration of two‐photon polymerization with electrically actuated gelatin methacrylate‐based hydrogels. By tailoring the charge of the polymer network, we demonstrate programmable polarity‐dependent bending, enabling microstructures that ...

Working Characteristics of Mechanical Composite Impactor

open access: yesShiyou jixie
Conventional impactor works with hydraulic impulse, which may induce erosion to impact the working life of the impactor. To this end,a mechanical lifting and disc spring energy storage impact method was proposed and a mechanical composite impactor was ...

Framework Flexibility on Water Sorption and Transport in ZIF‐90: Insights from Neural‐Network Molecular Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A DeepMD‐based molecular dynamics framework is developed to investigate water adsorption in ZIF‐90, explicitly accounting for framework flexibility. Results show that atomistic flexibility significantly influences adsorption energetics, diffusion, and structural correlations, yielding nearly constant heat of adsorption and enhanced mobility.

Reactive Power Control Impact on Torsional Oscillations in GFM-DFIGs: Analysis and Mitigation

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics
Recent studies have highlighted potential torsional stability risks in grid-forming (GFM) controlled wind turbine (WTs). While most research focuses on the active power control channel, the influence of reactive power control (RPC) is rarely concerned ...

Dental Microwear Texture Analysis on Radular Teeth

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
3D microwear textures reveal how gastropod radular teeth respond to controlled abrasive contact. Distinct surface signatures distinguish regular abrasion from fracture‐dominated material removal, showing how mineralized coatings, fibrous cores, and substrate properties jointly shape wear and failure in a biological scraping interface.
