Gold(I) Phosphine/Phosphido‐Borohydride Complexes
Synthesis, structure, and electrochemical characteristics of a homologous series of gold(I) complexes featuring phosphine and phosphido–borohydride ligands. A homologous series of linear, mononuclear gold(I) phosphine/phosphido‐borohydride complexes, encompassing [Au(PR3)2]+ 1, [Au(PR3)(PR2BH3)] 2 and [Au(PR2BH3)2]– 3 (R = tBu, Ad), has been prepared ...

Finite element and Campbell analyses evaluated noise and vibration in a tri‐lobe compressor. A critical speed of 243 rad/s due to backward whirl was identified. Modal and static results revealed vibration hotspots at flanges and lobe tips. Design optimization enhances structural integrity, reduces resonance risk, and minimizes noise emission.

ABSTRACT To enhance the structural robustness of bridges, a rocking arch‐shaped segmental pier with a double sliding system was previously proposed as a low‐cost solution to protect bridges in developing countries. The rocking behavior is triggered by halting the sliding motion, which increases the horizontal load‐bearing capacity and limits ...

This study investigates the performance of a tuned mass damper inerter (TMDI) in enhancing the seismic performance of structures by focusing on the concept of effective damping ratio (EDR) and its enhancement through the effective damping ratio enhancement (EDRE) approach. An analytical model is developed for a single‐degree‐of‐freedom system subjected
