On Actions of Tori and Quaternionic Tori on Products of Spheres

In this paper we study the actions of tori (standard compact tori, as well as their quaternionic analogues) on products of spheres. It is proved that the orbit space of a specific action of a torus on a product of spheres is homeomorphic to a sphere. A similar statement for a real torus $\mathbb{Z}_2^n$ was proved by the second author in 2019.

We consider the cosmological role of the scalar fields generated by the compactification of 11-dimensional Einstein gravity on a 7D elliptic twisted torus, which has the attractive features of giving rise to a positive semi-definite potential, and partially fixing the moduli.

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.
