Quantum Algebraic Tori

open access: yesMathematical Notes, 2001
The author introduces the notion of a quantum form of an algebraic torus. In the case of diagonal algebraic torus we get the algebra of Laurent twisted polynomials. Quantum algebraic torus can be characterized in terms of exact sequences. The author study the center of QAT.

This article provides a complete characterization of the conformal classes of product tori and standard flat tori in complex dimension 1 (real dimension 2). Utilizing basic differential geometry methods, our approach contrasts with techniques employing Hopf tori for the conformal classification of Riemann surfaces of genus 1.
