Optimal SuDoKu Reconfiguration Technique for Total-Cross-Tied PV Array to Increase Power Output Under Non-Uniform Irradiance

IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, 2019
Partial shading condition drastically reduces the maximum power output of photovoltaic array. Partial shading occurs due to several factors, such as flying birds, trees, and passing clouds. Many ways can be mitigated partial shading problems in photovoltaic (PV) array.

Mathematical analysis of total-cross-tied photovoltaic array under partial shading condition and its comparison with other configurations

Solar Energy, 2016
Abstract The goal of this paper is to investigate total-cross-tied (TCT) configuration under partial shading condition. A full investigation requires mathematical analysis and simulation. An accurate mathematical analysis gives us a better understanding of how partial shading affects the output curves of the solar cell, so we first mathematically ...

Shade Resilient Total Cross Tied Configurations to Enhance Energy Yield of Photovoltaic Array Under Partial Shaded Conditions

2019
Partial shading restrains the output of photovoltaic (PV) system, as mismatch losses are prominent when shade dispersion is uneven in an array. Partial shading (PS) is unavoidable in residential installations and it is therefore essential to improve the output under such conditions.

PV Distributed-MPP Tracking: Total-Cross-Tied configuration of MICs to extract the Maximum Power under Partial Shading conditions

2018 IEEE International Conference on Power Electronics, Drives and Energy Systems (PEDES), 2018
The Photovoltaic (PV) central inverter architecture comprises of various PV module configurations. The PV module configurations are vulnerable to shading effects and cause mismatching power losses. To reduce the detrimental effect of shading and mismatching on energy production, Distributed-Maximum Power Point Tracking (D-MPPT) architecture has been ...

Proton Total Reaction Cross Sections for 22 Isotopes of Ti, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, Zr, and Sn at 14.5 MeV,

Physical Review, 1967
Total proton reaction cross sections have been measured at 14.5 MeV for 22 separated isotope targets to an accuracy of ±2% for Ti, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, and Zr isotopes and ±4½% for the Sn isotopes. A beam-attenuation technique employing a solid-state counter to detect elastically scattered protons at forward angles has been used.

Improved Photovoltaic Performance under Non-Uniform Irradiance Using Total Cross Tied Arrangement and Grid-Based Load Balancing

This paper presents the performance analysis of a photovoltaic (PV) array configuration under various partial shading conditions using the Total Cross Tied (TCT) interconnection scheme. The study aims to maximize power output and improve array efficiency in the presence of non-uniform irradiance.
