High Lundquist Number Simulations of Parker\u27s Model of Coronal Heating: Scaling and Current Sheet Statistics Using Heterogeneous Computing Architectures [PDF]
Parker\u27s model [Parker, Astrophys. J., 174, 499 (1972)] is one of the most discussed mechanisms for coronal heating and has generated much debate.

Anisotropic viscous dissipation in compressible magnetic X-points [PDF]
Context: Visco-resistive damping in line-tied magnetic X-points is examined. Aims: The goal is to determine whether fast, Alfvénic energy dissipation is possible for X-point disturbances damped by the plasma resistivity and non-isotropic viscosity ...

CX3CL1 in Early Detection of Alzheimer's Disease: Plasma Dynamics Across Age and Disease Stages
ABSTRACT Backgrounds Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by amyloid‐beta plaques, tau tangles, and neuroinflammation. C‐X3‐C motif chemokine ligand 1 (CX3CL1, also known as fractalkine), a neuroimmune chemokine implicated in AD pathogenesis, shows inconsistent alterations in plasma/serum across studies.

Ti-Catalyzed Cross-Cyclomagnesiation of 1,2-Dienes in the Total Z,Z,Z-Stereoselective Synthesis of Natural Acetogenin–Chatenaytrienin-1 [PDF]
The first total synthesis of natural acetogenin, chatenaytrienin-1, was performed in 10 steps and in 41% overall yield using cross-cyclomagnesiation of (6Z)-heptadeca-1,2,6-triene and trideca-11,12-dien-1-ol tetrahydropyran acetal with EtMgBr in the presence of Mg metal and the Cp2TiCl2 catalyst (10 mol %) as the key step of the synthesis.

Fluid Biomarkers of Disease Burden and Cognitive Dysfunction in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
ABSTRACT Objective Identifying objective biomarkers for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is crucial to improving diagnosis and establishing clinical trial and treatment endpoints. This study evaluated fluid biomarkers in PSP versus controls and their associations with regional 18F‐PI‐2620 tau‐PET, clinical, and cognitive outcomes.

Objective We assessed whether circulating adipokines are associated with incident fractures in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Methods Three adipokines (adiponectin, leptin, and fibroblast growth factor [FGF]‐21) were measured using banked enrollment serum from participants in a longitudinal RA cohort.

Diffusion‐Weighted Imaging for the Evaluation of the Sacroiliac Joint in Pediatric Patients
Objective Maturational signal in the sacroiliac joint (SIJ) of skeletally immature youth is often misinterpreted as inflammation. Diagnostic tools that improve specificity are greatly needed. Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values from diffusion‐weighted imaging (DWI), when used with standard imaging, may enhance diagnostic accuracy.
