Analysis of the altitudinal structure of Storm-enhanced density using Total Electron Content data of space-borne and ground-based GPS receivers

open access: yesAntarctic Record, 2013
The altitudinal structure of Storm-enhanced density (SED) was studied using the Total Electron Content (TEC) data of the GPS receiver on the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellite and the ground-based GPS receivers.

Ultrasound‐Actuated Gene Editing in Human Kidney Organoids

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Peptide‐stabilized nanoemulsions enable spatially controlled, ultrasound‐triggered delivery of gene‐editing proteins deep within human kidney organoid tissues. Focused acoustic pulses drive droplet vaporization, propelling cargo into target renal cells while preserving native tissue microarchitecture. This non‐viral platform improves both the depth and

Anomalous variations in ionospheric TEC prior to the 2011 Japan Ms9. 0 earthquake

open access: yesGeodesy and Geodynamics, 2011
The ionospheric total-electron-content (TEC) data provided by the International GNSS Service (IGS) network and the VTEC data from the GPS reference stations of Crustal Movement Observational Network of China(CMONC) were processed and statistically ...

The effect of geomagnetic storm on GPS derived total electron content (TEC) at Varanasi, India

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2010
In this paper we studied the effect of geomagnetic storm on Global Positioning System (GPS) derived total electron content (TEC) at low latitude Varanasi (Geomagnetic lat 14°, 55' N, geomagnetic long 154° E) during the period of May 2007 to April 2008. During this period 2 storms were found, which were occurred on 20 November 2007 and 9 March 2008.

Local Variations of the Total Electron Content (TEC) of the Ionosphere as Measured in the North Caucasus Mountains

Disruption of Treg Homeostasis in Rheumatoid Arthritis via Ferroptosis‐Mediated ETC Collapse and TXK‐STAT3/PLCγ1 Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In rheumatoid arthritis, synovial Tregs accumulate but are functionally impaired due to iron overload‐induced ferroptosis. This triggers mitochondrial dysfunction and TXK tyrosine kinase‐mediated signaling, leading to Treg destabilization and inflammation.

Sustainable Materials Design With Multi‐Modal Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Critical mineral scarcity, high embodied carbon, and persistent pollution from materials processing intensify the need for sustainable materials design. This review frames the problem as multi‐objective optimization under heterogeneous, high‐dimensional evidence and highlights multi‐modal AI as an enabling pathway.

On forecasting ionospheric total electron content responses to high-speed solar wind streams

open access: yesJournal of Space Weather and Space Climate, 2016
Conditions in the ionosphere have become increasingly important to forecast, since more and more spaceborne and ground-based technological systems rely on ionospheric weather.

Seedless One‐Pot Synthesis of Colloidal InAs Quantum Dots Enabling a High‐Accuracy Photoplethysmography Oximeter

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A real‐time, non‐contact photoplethysmography (PPG) system based on InAs colloidal quantum dots (CQDs) synthesized via a seedless injection synthesis is demonstrated. The measured oxygen saturation shows considerable agreement with commercial PPG devices.
