Mass Spectrometric Investigation of the Influence of Water Vapour and Oxygen on Gas‐Phase Reactions of Aluminium Acetylacetonate

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
The gas‐phase decomposition of Al(acac)3 is investigated under inert, oxygen, and water‐containing conditions. Water is found to promote selective ligand removal and suppress hydrocarbon formation, while oxygen induces faster, less selective decomposition pathways.

Oil and gas: a blessing for few hydrocarbons and within-region inequality in Russia [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Building on earlier work on regional inequality in Russia (Fedorov 2002; Gaddy and Ickes 2005; Bradshaw 2006 and others) we investigate a novel line of research, i.e.

Water‐Stable Paper‐Based Laser‐Induced Graphene With Asymmetric Water Adhesion and Wettability

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Paper‐based electronics are attractive for sustainable and disposable devices, but often fail in wet environments. By introducing Parafilm into cellulose paper combined with laser conversion, two graphene surfaces with different water interactions are created.

Chlorinated hydrocarbons in beef, cow liver and milk products and total mercury in cow liver

open access: yesAgricultural and Food Science, 1975
The chlorinated hydrocarbons used in pesticides and PCB-compounds (polychlorinated biphenyls) were determined in domestic and imported beef (79 samples), cow liver (195 samples), butter (112 samples), cheese (93 samples) and milk powder (58 samples ...

Influence of Carbon Nanoparticles on Electrically Induced Wear of Grease‐Lubricated Steels

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
When an electric current enters a pair of rubbing surfaces, enormous damage takes place. In this research, how such damage occurs in the presence of protective grease and the mitigation with added carbon nanoparticles, were investigated. It was discovered that those particles regulate transport and interfacial electrical stability of the grease ...
