On six-dimensional Vaisman — Gray submanifolds of the octave algebra
The W1 + W4 class of almost Hermitian manifolds (in accordance with the Gray — Hervella classification) is usually named as the class of Vaisman — Gray manifolds.

Isometric immersions into three‐dimensional unimodular metric Lie groups
Abstract We study isometric immersions of surfaces into simply connected three‐dimensional unimodular Lie groups endowed with either Riemannian or Lorentzian left‐invariant metrics, assuming that Milnor's operator is diagonalizable in the Lorentzian case.

Totally real submanifolds of the nearly kaehler 6-sphere [PDF]
Totally real 3-dimensiunal submanifolds of the nearly Kaehler 6-sphere are the main topic of this thesis. Having introduced preliminaries on the theory of complex and almost complex manifolds, the nearly Kaehler structure of S(^6) and the non existence ...

Surface subgroups for cocompact lattices of isometries of H2n$\mathbb {H}^{2n}$
Abstract We prove the existence of surface subgroups within any cocompact lattice Γ$\Gamma$ in SO(2n,1)$\mathrm{SO}(2n,1)$ for n⩾2$n\geqslant 2$. This result addresses the cases missing from the work of Hamenstädt in 2015, who constructed surface subgroups in cocompact lattices for all other rank‐1 simple Lie groups of noncompact type.

On pseudoparallel submanifold of trans-Sasakian manifolds admitting semisymmetric metric connection [PDF]
The aim of the present paper is to study invariant pseudoparallel submanifolds of a trans-Sasakian manifold equipped with semisymmetric metric connection.

Restriction of eigenfunctions to totally geodesic submanifolds
This article is about two types of restrictions of eigenfunctions $ϕ_j$ on a compact Riemannian manifold $(M,g)$: First, we restrict to a submanifold $H \subset M$, and expand the restriction $γ_H ϕ_j$ in eigenfunctions $e_k$ of $H$. We then Fourier restrict $γ_H ϕ_j$ to a short interval of eigenvalues of $H$.

Pinwheels in symplectic rational and ruled surfaces and non‐squeezing of rational homology balls
Abstract We use almost toric fibrations and the symplectic rational blow‐up to determine when certain Lagrangian pinwheels, which we call liminal, embed in symplectic rational and ruled surfaces. The case of L2,1$L_{2,1}$‐pinwheels, namely Lagrangian RP2s$\mathbb {R}P^2{\rm s}$, answers a question of Kronheimer in the negative, exhibiting a symplectic ...

Totally geodesic submanifolds in the tangent bundle of a Riemannian 2-manifold [PDF]
We give a full description of totally geodesic submanifolds in the tangent bundle of a Riemannian 2-manifold of constant curvature and present a new class of a cylinder-type totally geodesic submanifolds in the general ...

Abstract We give a formula with explicit constants relating the subsurface projection dY(ν−,ν+)$d_Y(\nu ^-,\nu ^+)$ of the end invariants ν−,ν+$\nu ^-,\nu ^+$ of a hyperbolic 3‐manifold Q$Q$ diffeomorphic to S×R$S\times \mathbb {R}$ and the length of the geodesic representative in Q$Q$ of the multicurve ∂Y$\partial Y$.

Simple homotopy theory for Fukaya categories
Abstract We develop a categorical framework for simple homotopy theory in Fukaya categories, based on the fundamental group of the ambient symplectic manifold. When the first Chern class vanishes, we show that any isomorphism in the Fukaya category of a Weinstein manifold has trivial Whitehead torsion.
