Totally Contact Umbilical Lightlike Hypersurfaces of Indefinite -Manifolds [PDF]

LIGHTLIKE REAL HYPERSURFACES WITH TOTALLY UMBILICAL SCREEN DISTRIBUTIONS [PDF]
The author studies the geometry of lightlike real hypersurfaces of an indefinite Kähler manifold. The main result is a characterization theorem for lightlike real hypersurfaces \(M\) of an indefinite complex space form \(\overline M(c)\) such that the screen distribution is totally umbilic.

Totally Umbilical Hypersurfaces of Lorentzian Reducible Spaces
Abstract We investigate totally umbilical hypersurfaces in Lorentzian reducible spaces, focusing on their classification and geometric properties. We explore conditions for the existence of proper totally umbilical hypersurfaces in a $$(n+1)$$ (

A New Characterization of Totally Umbilical Hypersurfaces in de Sitter Space
It is shown that a compact spacelike hypersurface which is contained in the chronological future (or past) of an equator of de Sitter space is a totally umbilical round sphere if the kth mean curvature function Hk is a linear combination of Hk+1,…, Hn. This is a new angle to characterize round spheres.

Totally umbilical hypersurfaces of product spaces [PDF]
Given a Riemannian manifold $M,$ and an open interval $I\subset\mathbb{R},$ we characterize nontrivial totally umbilical hypersurfaces of the product $M\times I$ -- as well as of warped products $I\times_ωM$ -- as those which are local graphs built on isoparametric families of totally umbilical hypersurfaces of $M.$ By means of this characterization ...

A note on η-quasi-umbilical hypersurfaces in almost Hermitian manifolds
In the present note, we consider the introduced by Lidia Vasil’evna Stepanova notion of an -quasi-umbilical hypersurface in an almost Hermitian manifold.

Pythagorean Isoparametric Hypersurfaces in Riemannian and Lorentzian Space Forms
We introduce the notion of a Pythagorean hypersurface immersed into an n+1-dimensional pseudo-Riemannian space form of constant sectional curvature c∈−1,0,1.
