MagPiezo: A Magnetogenetic Platform for Remote Activation of Endogenous Piezo1 Channels in Endothelial Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MagPiezo enables wireless activation of endogenous Piezo1 channels without genetic modification using 19 nm magnetic nanoparticles and low‐intensity magnetic fields. It generates torque forces at the piconewton scale to trigger mechanotransduction in endothelial cells, standing as a novel platform to interrogate and manipulate Piezo1 activity in vitro.

Kinetics of macroion coagulation induced by multivalent counterions

open access: yes, 2001
Due to the strong correlations between multivalent counterions condensed on a macroion, the net macroion charge changes sign at some critical counterion concentration. This effect is known as the charge inversion.

Coral Rock Thickness Grounding System Switchyard Substation In Clay

open access: yesJournal of Electrical, Electronics and Informatics, 2023
The grounding of the equipment at the substation switchyard location is given a layer of coral about 10 cm above the ground surface to reduce the tension difference on the ground surface and increase the resistance of the human feet around it.
