Deoxynivalenol Exposure Leads to Abnormal Renal Tubular Autophagy Flow
Advanced Science, EarlyView.DON exposure disrupts the initiation of renal autophagy by inhibiting the formation of autophagosomes, thereby impairing mitochondrial degradation. Damaged mitochondria increase oxidative stress, reduce ferroptosis resistance, and cause lysosomal Fe2⁺ accumulation, further disrupting autophagy.
