Bowl-shaped molybdenum complexes containing tris(3-p-methoxyphenylpyrazol-1-yl)borate (TpAn). Crystal structures of [Mo(TpAn)(NO)(Cl)(NHC6H4-p-CH3)] and [Mo(TpAn)(NO)(Cl){NHC6H4-p-N(CH3)2}]

Polyhedron, 2001
Abstract New arylamide complexes of the type [Mo(TpAn)(NO)(Cl)(NHC6H4-p-R)] (TpAn=hydrotris(3-p-methoxyphenylpyrazol-1-yl)borate; R=CH3O (1), N(CH3)2 (2), Cl (3), CH3 (4)) have been prepared in order to deduce the influence different arylamide para-substituents have on their molecular structure and properties.

Aggregation-Induced Emission in Phenothiazine–TPE and −TPAN Polymers

Macromolecules, 2018
Two phenothiazine-based polymers—tetraphenylethylene- (PTzTPE) and triphenylacrylonitrile-substituted (PTzTPAN) polyphenothiazines—were studied in organic solvents, solid state, and THF:water and dioxane:water mixtures to investigate the occurrence of aggregation-induced emission (AIE).

Meso Alkynylated Tetraphenylethylene (TPE) and 2,3,3-Triphenylacrylonitrile (TPAN) Substituted BODIPYs

The Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2015
The tetraphenylethylene (TPE) substituted BODIPY 2a, and 2,3,3-triphenylacrylonitrile (TPAN) substituted BODIPYs 2b and 2c were designed and synthesized by the Pd-catalyzed Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction. Their photophysical and electrochemical properties were investigated.

Ferrocenyl derivatives with Mo(TpAn) units for second- and third-order nonlinear optical applications

Synthetic Metals, 2001
Abstract New molecular systems based on donor/acceptor organometallic groups connected by π-conjugated bridges have been designed and their nonlinear optical (NLO) properties investigated. At macroscopic level SHG and THG responses were measured on corona-poled spin-coated films and at molecular level cubic hyperpolarizability data were obtained from

Complexes of main-group elements containing stereochemically active lone pairs: the crystal structures of [Tl(TpAn)] {TpAn=tris[3-(2-methoxyphenyl)pyrazol-1-yl]hydroborate} and [Pb(TpPy)(NO3)]·0.5Et2O {TpPy = tris[3,-(2-pyrdyl)pyrazol-1-yl]hydroborate}

Polyhedron, 1997
Abstract The new podand ligand tris[3-(2-methoxyphenyl)pyrazol-1-yl]hydroborate (TpAn) has been prepared and the crystal structure of [Tl(TpAn)] determined. The metal ion is in a trigonal pyramidal geometry arising from the three pyrazolyl N-donors, with the lone pair of the TlI ion in the fourth position of the tetrahedron of electron pairs.
