In this study, we pool publicly available gene expression data from clinical samples (tissue biopsies and blood samples) and derive and validate a signature of consistently deregulated genes across pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) samples.

Human amygdala involvement in Alzheimer's disease revealed by stereological and dia‐PASEF analysis
A combined stereological and proteomic analysis revealed amygdala volume reduction linked to synaptic dysfunction in Alzheimer''s disease samples. The pathological markers gradient suggested the relevance of connections in the distribution of the pathology among different brain regions.

Abstract Small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) play a key role in exchanging cargoes between cells in tumour microenvironment. This study aimed to elucidate the functions and mechanisms of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) derived sEV‐clathrin light chain A (CLTA) in remodelling microvascular niche.

Tumor protein D52 (TPD52) affects cancer cell metabolism by negatively regulating AMPK
TPD52 forms a stable complex with AMPKα and negatively regulates AMPKα kinase activity. TPD52 modulates cell metabolism through regulating AMPK. Abstract Background The AMP‐activated protein kinase (AMPK) is a central regulator of energy homeostasis, with deregulation leading to cancer and other diseases.

BackgroundTumor Protein D52-Like 2 (TPD52L2) is a tumor-associated protein that participates in B-cell differentiation. However, the role of TPD52L2 in the pathological process of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is unclear.MethodsMultiple omics ...

Intracellular nanovesicles mediate α5β1 integrin trafficking during cell migration [PDF]
Membrane traffic is an important regulator of cell migration through the endocytosis and recycling of cell surface receptors such as integrin heterodimers.

Tumor protein D52-like 2 (TPD52L2) belongs to the members of the TPD52 family. TPD52L2 was reported to regulate proliferation and apoptosis in cancer cells. However, its role in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) was uncertain.

Identifying interactomes of membrane‐associated small G proteins is challenging. Here, we applied three proteomic approaches to identify the interactive neighbourhood of constitutively active Arl5b, a small G protein of the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). 50% of the hits were TGN/Golgi‐localised small G proteins, indicating an organised complex of small G ...

By using a genetically modified mouse model and viral tracing approaches, we mapped both the anterograde and the retrograde projections of a subpopulation of neurons in the anterior paraventricular thalamic nucleus, molecularly defined by the expression of glucokinase (GckaPVT).
