Twin TQFTs and Frobenius Algebras [PDF]
We introduce the category of singular 2-dimensional cobordisms and show that it admits a completely algebraic description as the free symmetric monoidal category on atwin Frobenius algebra, by providing a description of this category in terms of generators and relations.

Decorated TQFTs and their Hilbert spaces
We discuss topological quantum field theories that compute topological invariants which depend on additional structures (or decorations) on three-manifolds.

Coupling a Cosmic String to a TQFT
A common framework of particle physics consists of two sectors of particles, such as the Standard Model and a dark sector, with some interaction between them.

Universal Non‐Invertible Symmetries
Abstract It is well‐known that gauging a finite 0‐form symmetry in a quantum field theory leads to a dual symmetry generated by topological Wilson line defects. These are described by the representations of the 0‐form symmetry group which form a 1‐category.

Branes and Non‐Invertible Symmetries
Abstract N=4$\mathcal{N}=4$ supersymmetric Yang‐Mills theories with algebra so(4N)$\mathfrak {so}(4N)$ and appropriate choices of global structure can have non‐invertible symmetries. We identify the branes holographically dual to the non‐invertible symmetries, and derive the fusion rules for the symmetries from the worldvolume dynamics on the branes.

Resurgence analysis of quantum invariants of Seifert fibered homology spheres
Abstract For a Seifert fibered homology sphere X$X$, we show that the q$q$‐series invariant Ẑ0(X;q)$\hat{\operatorname{Z}}_0(X;q)$, introduced by Gukov–Pei–Putrov–Vafa, is a resummation of the Ohtsuki series Z0(X)$\operatorname{Z}_0(X)$. We show that for every even k∈N$k \in \mathbb {N}$ there exists a full asymptotic expansion of Ẑ0(X;q)$ \hat ...

The anomaly that was not meant IIB
Abstract Type IIB supergravity enjoys a discrete non‐Abelian duality group, which has potential quantum anomalies. In this paper we explicitly compute these, and present the bordism group that controls them, modulo some physically motivated assumptions.

We generalize the notion of parallel transport along paths for abelian bundles to parallel transport along surfaces for abelian gerbes using an embedded Topological Quantum Field Theory (TQFT) approach. We show both for bundles and gerbes with connection that there is a one-to-one correspondence between their local description in terms of locally ...
