A self‐assessment of TQM applications at Super‐conducting Super Collider Laboratory in Dallas, Texas, USA. This was conducted using Thomas Gilbert′s model for asking the requisite questions, from September 1991‐93. Shows that although many TQM applications fail, some are successful. Reviews what fostered success and what improvements are needed.

Military Medicine, 1993
We present the plan used to change our 35-bed medical treatment facility to a Deming Total Quality Improvement environment. This was successfully intermeshed with the military hierarchical chain of command and has resulted in a paradigm shift in the least amount of time within the facility.
