Farming System and Nematodes Affect the Rhizosphere Microbiome of Tropical Banana Plants. [PDF]
The banana crops showed a core microbiome of 77 ASV, mostly belonging to Proteobacteria, Actinobacteria, and Bacilli. Specific groups of bacteria and fungi were linked to each nematode species or feeding group, with a core microbiome of correlated taxa found only when considering nematodes by feeding groups.

On the taxonomic identity and nomenclature of Cyperus megapotamicus (Cyperaceae)
Cyperus megapotamicus (A. Spreng.) Kunth is a nomenclatural synonym of Rhynchospora megapotamica (A. Spreng.) H. Pfeiff. but was originally misapplied to a species of Cyperus. Contrary to the rules, both species names are in current use in different genera.
