An Improved Scalable Process for the Synthesis of (S,S)-DACH-Ph Trost Ligand

open access: yesSynlett : Accounts and Rapid Communications in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, 2022
An improved chemical process has been developed for the synthesis of (S,S)-DACH-Ph Trost ligand. The amidation of 2-diphenylphosphinylbenzoic acid and (S,S)-diaminocyclohexane is promoted by stoichiometric CDI and catalytic imidazole hydrochloride.

Catalytic Enantioselective Synthesis of N-C Axially Chiral N-(2,6-Disubstituted-phenyl)sulfonamides through Chiral Pd-Catalyzed N-Allylation

open access: yesMolecules, 2022
Recently, catalytic enantioselective syntheses of N-C axially chiral compounds have been reported by many groups. Most N-C axially chiral compounds prepared through a catalytic asymmetric reaction possess carboxamide or nitrogen-containing aromatic ...

catena-Poly[[[bis(N,N-dimethylformamide)iron(II)]-{μ-2,2′-bis(diphenylphosphinoyl)-N,N′-[(1R,2R)-cyclohexane-1,2-diyl]dibenzamide}] bis(perchlorate) N,N-dimethylformamide disolvate]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2009
The title extended solid coordination compound, {[Fe(C44H40N2O4P2)(C3H7NO)2](ClO4)2·2C3H7NO}n, was crystallized unexpectedly from the reaction mixture containing the Trost ligand (1R,2R)-(+)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane-N,N′-bis(2′-

Hidden O‐Deglycosylation Activity Triggers O → C Rearrangement for Aryl Di‐C‐Glucoside Formation by the C‐Glycosyltransferase From Fortunella crassifolia

open access: yesBiotechnology and Bioengineering, EarlyView.
Here, we uncovered an unexpected O‐deglycosylation activity of the C glycosyltransferase (FcCGT), forming phloretin (1) from phloretin 2'‐O‐glucoside (2). In the presence of UDP, FcCGT catalyzes the O→C rearrangement to yield nothofagin (3). Upon additional UDP‐glucose, further C‐glycosylation occurs, forming phloretin 3',5'‐di‐C‐glucoside (4 ...
