Trabalho & Educação, 2016 In this article, we propose a reflection on competencies, professionalization and "informal work". It focus on one hand, the activities and jobs actually that exist without being enrolled in a professionalization process, and on other hand, the work paths awaiting the recognition that would allow the related actors to gain a "professional" status.
