Computer programs simplify optical system analysis [PDF]
The optical ray-trace computer program performs geometrical ray tracing. The energy-trace program calculates the relative monochromatic flux density on a specific target area.

In (J. Funct. Anal. 257, 1092-1132 (2009)), Dykema and Skripka showed the existence of higher order spectral shift functions when the unperturbed self-adjoint operator is bounded and the perturbations is Hilbert-Schmidt.

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

L’écologie déséquilibrante de l’oubli chez Homo Numericus
The aim of this paper is to construct the problematics of the just balance between the memory and the forgetting in the digital era, which is in danger with the coming of the digital technology which memorizes everything while never forget.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

LA POSICIÓN DEL «AGENTE RETENEDOR» EN LOS MODELOS DE INTERCAMBIO DE INFORMACIÓN: ¿SUSTITUTO O COLABORADOR? [PDF]

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Convex Multivariable Trace Functions
For any densely defined, lower semi-continuous trace \tau on a C*-algebra A with mutually commuting C*-subalgebras A_1, A_2, ... A_n, and a convex function f of n variables, we give a short proof of the fact that the function (x_1, x_2, ..., x_n ...
