A cascade‐responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF/GelMA hydrogel is engineered as a “skeleton–backpack” platform for extensive tracheal repair. The MXene framework scavenges postoperative ROS and converts NIR light into mild hyperthermia, while the Cu‐MOF component provides pH/NIR‐responsive Cu2+ dosing for infection control, angiogenesis, and chondrogenesis.

Cervical Resection of a Suprapericardial Retrosternal Goiter Without Thoracotomy: A Case Report
ABSTRACT A cervical approach combined with thoracoscopic assistance and preoperative tracheal stenting offers a safe and minimally invasive alternative to sternotomy for managing retrosternal goiters extending to the pericardium with severe airway compression.

Partial cricotracheal resection for pediatric subglottic stenosis: a single institution's experience in 60 cases [PDF]
.: In our study, 60 infants and children, each with a severe subglottic stenosis (SGS), underwent partial cricotracheal resection (PCTR) with primary thyrotracheal anastomosis. According to the Myer-Cotton classification, two were grade II, 41 were grade

ABSTRACT Vocal cord paralysis is a recognized complication of tracheal and nasogastric tube insertion. When associated with nasogastric tube insertion, it is termed nasogastric tube syndrome (NGTS). This syndrome is classically characterized by a triad of throat pain, presence of a nasogastric tube, and vocal cord paralysis, which is often bilateral. A

Laryngo-tracheal stenosis following endotracheal intubation
Background: Despite significant improvements in the biocompatibility of materials used for tracheal tubes, laryngeal and tracheal lesions as long-term complications of artificial airways continue to be problematic in patients requiring prolonged airway ...

In this double‐blind RCT involving 82 patients undergoing carotid endarterectomy, sugammadex significantly reduced excessive cerebral blood flow during emergence from general anesthesia compared to neostigmine (MCAV% S: 24,600 vs. 31,575, p = 0.044). Sugammadex also shortened extubation time (110 vs.

Introduction: Cricothyroidotomy establishes an emergency surgical airway, but concerns persist that cricothyroidotomy only (CO) may be associated with higher rates of tracheal stenosis than revision to tracheostomy (RT). We characterized the incidence of

Pss knockdown in the midgut causes growth retardation in Drosophila similar to that in human LMHD
Abstract Background Phosphatidylserine synthase (PSS), localized in the mitochondrial membrane, synthesizes phosphatidylserine. In humans, mutations in Pss lead to Lenz–Majewski hyperostotic dwarfism, a disorder affecting growth and development. The effects of Pss mutations on the growth of Drosophila melanogaster are not fully known. Hence, this study
