Managing Mechanical Ventilation After Tracheobronchoplasty for Tracheobronchomalacia
Tracheobronchomalacia (TBM) is a structural airway disease characterized by weakness of the supporting anterior airway cartilage. Tracheobronchoplasty is considered the definitive surgical treatment for TBM.

Survivorship of Individuals With Double Heterozygosity for Achondroplasia and Type 2 Collagenopathy
ABSTRACT Historically, double heterozygosity, or a diagnosis of two separate, dominant genetic conditions, was often thought to be lethal in individuals with autosomal dominant skeletal dysplasias. In previously published studies of individuals with dual dysplasia diagnoses of achondroplasia and type 2 collagenopathy, infants died of respiratory ...

Tracheobronchomalacia incidentally detected on Tc-99m ventilation/perfusion SPECT
A Tc-99m Technegas MAA-SPECT was performed on an 81-year-old woman to exclude pulmonary embolism. It showed hypoperfusion and practically absent ventilation of the entire left lung, suggesting a left-sided centrally localized airway obstruction or ...

Cine MRI of Tracheal Dynamics in Healthy Volunteers and Patients With Tracheobronchomalacia
OBJECTIVE. Bronchoscopy and MDCT are routinely used to assess tracheobronchomalacia (TBM). Recently, dynamic MRI (cine MRI) has been proposed as a radiation-free alternative to MDCT.

Tracheobronchomalacia treated with re-stenting.
