Tracheobronchomegaly is a very rare entity characterized by dilatation of the trachea, especially in the membranous part of the trachea. Asthmatic attacks were the cardinal symptom in the case presented. The expiratory collapse of trachea and bronchi is well demonstrated by computer tomography.

[A case of tracheobronchomegaly].
Nihon Kokyuki Gakkai zasshi = the journal of the Japanese Respiratory Society, 2000We report a rare case of tracheobronchomegaly with crescent-type tracheobronchomalacia. A 77-year-old man with a chronic cough was referred to our hospital because of fever and dyspnea. Radiographic examination showed enlargement of the trachea and main bronchi.
