Climate and anthropogenic activities threaten two langur species irrespective of their range size
Abstract Aim If species fail to track the pace of climate change, areas of suitable habitat and population size are likely to decline, threatening species survivorship. Here, we incorporated multiple measures of environmental change and species‐specific habitat requirements to assess the responses of two closely related primate species to future ...

Pump and sway: Wild primates use compliant supports as a tool to augment leaping in the canopy
This illustration shows typical branch pumping behavior in wild colobus monkeys to enhance leaping performance. The primate utilizes its body weight and fore‐ and hind limb flexion and extension to oscillate the compliant support to gain additional vertical velocity before take‐off.

Timing of conceptions in Phayre's leaf monkeys: Energy and phytochemical intake
Conceptions in Phayre's leaf monkeys cluster during months when progestin metabolites in feces were high—likely related to phytochemical intake. Periods of presumed high energy intake (based on fruit and leaf feeding) were not decisive, the energy intake did not vary significantly across months.
