Track-to-track association for tracks with features and attributes
SPIE Proceedings, 2005The problem of track-to-track association - a prerequisite for fusion of tracks - has been considered in the literature only for tracks described by kinematic states. The association of tracks from a common target can also be solved using additional feature or attribute variables which are associated with those tracks. We extend the existing results to

We generalize in several directions a previously published Runge-Kutta method for track fitting. We point out that the same basic idea applies to any equation of motion and any general method for numerical integration. For comparison we also discuss the quintic spline fit.

Tracking Patients, Tracking Costs
Nursing Management (Springhouse), 1999Some 18.5% of hospitals employ a nurse case manager in the emergency department (ED) to decrease unnecessary hospital admissions, and address insurance company concerns about excessive ED visits. Consultants expect this management trend to increase.

Joint track-to-track association and sensor registration at the track level
Digital Signal Processing, 2015A joint approach is developed in this paper to simultaneously deal with the problem of track-to-track association and sensor registration at the track level. In previous research, it is usually supposed that sensor biases are directly imposed on local estimates, and only relative biases of sensors can be estimated.

Track to track fusion using out-of-sequence track information
2007 10th International Conference on Information Fusion, 2007Fusing out-of-sequence information is a very important problem for multi-sensor target tracking systems. The challenge is in dealing with measurements that arrive from the various sensors at a central processor out-of-sequence; that is, signals arriving with a measurement relating to a time previous to the time of the current state.

Optical track initiator for multitarget tracking
Applied Optics, 1988An optical processor for multitarget track initiation is presented. It uses the Hough transform to detect target tracks in a fixed time independent of the number of tracks present. In new results, we describe how the system produces target position and velocity estimates in linear time (with the number of targets). Tests of the system are presented for

We consider tracking as a binary classification problem, where an ensemble of weak classifiers is trained online to distinguish between the object and the background. The ensemble of weak classifiers is combined into a strong classifier using AdaBoost.
