Target Tracking Analysis for Stone Soup

2020 IEEE 23rd International Conference on Information Fusion (FUSION), 2020
The International Society of Information Fusion (ISIF) Stone Soup project seeks to bring together advances in target tracking through an open-source repository of software libraries. Additionally, the ISIF uncertainty reasoning working group provides an open-source ontology.

An analysis of automatic human detection and tracking

SPIE Proceedings, 2015
This paper presents an automatic method to detect and follow people on video streams. This method uses two techniques to determine the initial position of the person at the beginning of the video file: one based on optical flow and the other one based on Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG).

An analysis of tracking gate for maneuvering targets

Proceedings of the 41st SICE Annual Conference. SICE 2002., 2003
It is important for a maneuvering target tracking to decide an proper gatesize parameter d in clutter environment. There are 2 problems to set gatesize parameter. One of the problems is that d set for a target in cluttered environment, the other is that d set for a maneuvering target.

Analysis of growth kinetics by division tracking

Immunology & Cell Biology, 1999
Cell division tracking using fluorescent dyes, such as carboxyfluorescein diacetate succinimidyl ester, provides a unique opportunity for analysis of cell growth kinetics. The present review article presents new methods for enhancing resolution of division tracking data as well as derivation of quantities that characterize growth from time‐series data.

Continuous discourse tracking: An analysis of the procedure

Journal of Communication Disorders, 1991
The method of continuous discourse tracking was evaluated in terms of the strategies used by the talker and the types of responses elicited from the listener. Talker utterances were classified into four categories: 1. Complete repetition (of the initial utterance); 2. Partial repetition; 3. Repetition with change in emphasis; and 4. A combined strategy

Inclusive Track Analysis

Abstract Chapter 6 collects the lessons from the preceding analytical chapters and distills them into a practical methodology called inclusive track analysis (ITA). The theory is inspired by Oliveros’s concept of attentional flexibility and Benjamin’s notion of reading what was never written.

GEOLOGIC ANALYSIS BY TRACK ETCH METHOD

Nuclear Instruments and Methods, 1977
Abstract The nuclear track technique has provided a versatile method for the analyses of geological samples. We have applied the method to the mapping of boron, lithium, uranium and thorium in minerals and rocks. The analysis of uranium in natural water is reported, too.

Color Distribution Tracking for Facial Analysis

2005
In this paper we address the problem of real time object tracking in complex scenes under dynamically changing lighting conditions. This problem affects video-surveillance applications where object location must be known at any time. We are interested in locating and tracking people in video sequences for access control and advanced user interface ...
