Trajectory Tracking and Integrated Chassis Control for Obstacle Avoidance With Minimum Jerk

IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, 2022
Intelligent vehicles are expected to perform emergency lane change maneuvers to avoid a collision. During this aggressive maneuver, a high jerk may occur, which reduces the comfort level and may be harmful to vehicle occupants. The present paper addresses autonomous collision avoidance in the context of minimum jerk.

Multicaterpillar Track Chassis of Big Machines - Identification of Loads

Key Engineering Materials, 2011
Multicaterpillar track chassis are used in the biggest machines. This kind of chassis is commonly used in open cast mines for mobile transfer conveyor or for bucket wheel excavators. In each machine the chassis consist of 6 to 12 caterpillar tracks, which some are steered.

Finite Element Analysis on Chassis of Tracked Test Vehicle

2012 International Conference on Computer Distributed Control and Intelligent Environmental Monitoring, 2012
Chassis is one of the key components of tracked test vehicle. The strength and rigidity of chassis must be considered and structure resonance should be avoided during the process of structure design. The stress nephogram and strain nephogram of chassis are obtained, after static analysis in the finite element analysis software ANSYS. The maximum stress

Robust tracking control of MBT autoloaders with oscillatory chassis and compliant actuators

Nonlinear Dynamics, 2019
Ammunition autoloaders are widely utilized on main battle tanks to accomplish the tasks of transferring ammunitions from magazines to the gun breech. In practice, movements of autoloaders are significantly influenced by disturbances caused by chassis oscillations.

Simulation and optimization of the tracked chassis performance of electric shovel based on DEM-MBD

Powder Technology, 2021
Abstract To study and optimize the tracked chassis performance of electric shovel performance. First, the sand-gravel pavement model is built based on the discrete element method (DEM), and the virtual prototype model of the electric shovel is established. On this basis, the impacts of the pre-tension force, the road-wheel spacing, the sprocket speed,

Research on Parking Slot Tracking Algorithm Based on Fusion of Vision and Vehicle Chassis Information

International Journal of Automotive Technology, 2020
During parking, the vision-based parking slot detection system has error or missed detection due to distortion, illumination variation, occlusion and limited field of view (FOV). Thus, the parking slot position sent to path planning system is inaccurate and discontinuous.

Soil pressure and pulling behavior of standard and half-track tractor chassis concepts

2019
The investigation deals with the specific behavior of tire and new half-track based tractor chassis concepts under pull-condition, where horizontal and vertical forces occur between tractor and implement. These forces lead to a change of the front- and rear axle loads, compared to non-pull condition.
