Track to Reconstruct and Reconstruct to Track [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Robotics and Automation Letters 5.2 (2020): 1803-1810, 2019
Object tracking and 3D reconstruction are often performed together, with tracking used as input for reconstruction. However, the obtained reconstructions also provide useful information for improving tracking. We propose a novel method that closes this loop, first tracking to reconstruct, and then reconstructing to track.

Tracking and back‐tracking [PDF]

open access: yesProgress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, 2011
AbstractThis paper presents a review of back‐tracking geometry not only for single axis but also for two‐axis tracking and analyses the corresponding energy gains. It compares the different back‐tracking strategies with the ideal tracking in terms of energy yield concluding, on the one hand, that back‐tracking is more useful for single horizontal axis ...

Optical Phased Array-Based Laser Beam Array Subdivide Pixel Method for Improving Three-Dimensional Imaging Resolution

open access: yesPhotonics, 2023
The small number of pixels in the current linear mode avalanche photodiode (LM-APD) array limits its three-dimensional (3D) imaging resolution. We use an optical phased array-based beam array subdivided pixel method to improve the 3D imaging resolution ...

Digital resignation and the datafied welfare state

open access: yesBig Data & Society, 2023
This commentary calls for further research into digital resignation within non-market contexts, particularly in relation to the datafied welfare state, as distinct from commercial big tech platforms. We aim to nuance the concept of digital resignation by

BoT-SORT: Robust Associations Multi-Pedestrian Tracking [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv.org, 2022
The goal of multi-object tracking (MOT) is detecting and tracking all the objects in a scene, while keeping a unique identifier for each object. In this paper, we present a new robust state-of-the-art tracker, which can combine the advantages of motion ...

Tracking accuracy evaluation of electromagnetic sensor-based colonoscope tracking method [PDF]

open access: yesComputer-Assisted and Robotic Endoscopy, LNCS 9515, pp.101-108, 2015, 2022
This paper reports a detailed evaluation results of a colonoscope tracking method. A colonoscope tracking method utilizing electromagnetic sensors and a CT volume has been proposed. Tracking accuracy of this method was evaluated by using a colon phantom.

Tracking by Deblatting [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Vision, 2021
AbstractObjects moving at high speed along complex trajectories often appear in videos, especially videos of sports. Such objects travel a considerable distance during exposure time of a single frame, and therefore, their position in the frame is not well defined.
