Improvement of Robot Accuracy with an Optical Tracking System [PDF]
Robot positioning accuracy plays an important role in industrial automation applications. In this paper, a method is proposed for the improvement of robot accuracy with an optical tracking system that integrates a least-square numerical algorithm for the identification of kinematic parameters. In the process of establishing the system kinematics model,

Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Combined data association and evolving particle filter for tracking of multiple articulated objects. [PDF]
This paper proposes an approach for tracking multiple articulated targets using a combined data association and evolving population particle filter. A visual target is represented as a pictorial structure using a collection of parts together with a model

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Resolution limits to object tracking with subpixel accuracy [PDF]
Subpixel methods increase the accuracy and efficiency of image detectors, processing units, and algorithms and provide very cost-effective systems for object tracking. Published methods achieve resolution increases up to three orders of magnitude.

The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

Pathways and pitfalls: a qualitative study of student experiences in biomedical science education
Biomedical science students from underrepresented backgrounds face barriers including financial strain, disrupted laboratory access and cultural exclusion. Peer networks provide vital support when institutional systems are difficult to navigate. To create inclusive learning environments and achieve academic success, educators should blend active, hands‐
